What is SpoolScout?

SpoolScout is a directory of filament for 3D printing materials. We pull pricing data from Amazon, and combine it with the other attributes from the manufacturer's data sheets/websites in order to make it easier to find what you're looking for.

Where do you get the data from?

We get pricing data from Amazon. We get other data from the manufacturer where possible - we read the TDS / websites and extract, organise and normalise the data so it is comparable. Sometimes I make some (educated) guesses to try and improve the dataset.

Is this site an advertisement?

We receive commissions for products purchased through the links on this site through Amazon's Affiliate Program.

How frequently is the data updated?

Data is updated daily.

Prices listed do not include shipping or taxes. Most include free shipping, especially if you use Amazon Prime.
